Extension Centennial Celebrations May 19 & May 20
NC Extension employees, stakeholders and partners are invited to attend a two day “Extension Centennial Celebration”. The event will be held at the NC State Fairgrounds Exposition Center in Raleigh, NC. There will be exhibit space available for partner venders with forms due in by March 31. Celebration continues May 20th with various opportunities to engage cal advisory leaders, Extension and Community Association members, Master Gardeners, 4-H volunteers, county commissioners and county managers, agents and staff.

Global Berry Conference Kicks Off April 7, 2014 In Amsterdam
An international conference on blueberries will be held in Amsterdam from April 7-9. Although most, if not all North Carolina blueberry growers and producers will be busy, the link does offer an opportunity to see what kind of marketing initiatives are being pursued in Europe. Several of the presenting speakers will be from the USA including, Steve Nelson Plant Sciences, Inc., Roger Verloop – Naturipe, and Corey Brazelton – Fall Creek Farm & Nursery, Inc. (Oregon)
