2021 North Carolina Blueberry Open House and Tradeshow Cancelled
After months of careful consideration the Board of Directors along with the staff of the North Carolina Blueberry Council made the difficult decision to cancel the annual Open House and Trade Show in January, 2021. The health and safety of our members and supporters during the COVID-19 pandemic is our utmost concern; however, we had hoped to conduct the meeting with all safety protocols instituted and enforced.
Unfortunately, the latest Executive Order from the North Carolina Governor’s office still prohibits the Council and the Crown Complex in Fayetteville from hosting a face-to-face meeting of our numbers. Although there is a very slight possibility that the restrictions could be lifted prior to the January dates, it would not allow us the time needed to plan for a smooth and successful event.
SPONSORS – Although the full Open House and Trade Show will not be conducted virtually, we are researching options to hold virtual educational sessions which may offer sponsorship opportunities. We will keep you informed as our plans progress.
MEMBERS – we will be holding a Members Only meeting in January as we have several very important business matters to discuss and vote on. Please watch your US Mail, email, and the website for the date, time, location, and other pertinent information.
As always, we appreciate your continued support and hope to see you, well and happy, in January 2022!
